Systems Engineering
Systems engineering is about the successful systems realization by gathering the customer’s requirements to synthesize them into the intended design. Systems complexity is on the rise—to meet this challenge, Systems Engineers are turning to Model-Driven Systems Engineering to ensure that their systems’ designs are correctly captured and easily communicated to hybrid design teams. The heart of Model-Driven Systems Engineering is the Systems Modeling Language (SysML), an extension of the Unified Modeling Language (UML 2.1). SysML provides a standard notation allowing systems engineers to easily capture and communicate the design, which can be simulated early in the process to ensure correctness. Telelogic Rhapsody® is the leading Model-Driven Systems Engineering environment for describing technical, real-time or embedded systems. Telelogic Tau® provides Model-Driven Systems Engineering of complex systems and real-time software for enterprise applications, including those utilizing Service Oriented Architectures (SOA). |
